VOLCANOES

Spain has a few volcanoes. In Spain they have 4 volcanoes which are Campo de Calatrava, Cofrentes, Columbretes, Islas, and Olot Field. But Spain also owns the Canary Island and their volcanoes so the Canary Island have 7 volcanoes which are El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma, Lanzarote, and Tenerife. They are all active but the good thing is that none of them have erupted in about 40 or plus years. They only thing is that they do have to keep an eye out for them as they can and will erupt. The two main volcanoes their in Spain are Campo De Calatrava and Olot Field. 




This volcano is located in Central Spain. It has more then 300 pyroclastic cones, maars, and lava domes. 

Sadly I'm unable to post a picture of the the Olot Filed volcano. But they have large numbers of Strombolian pyroclastic cones and associated alkali basaltic lava flow. In the North East the volcanic province and include Ampurdan and selva area to the South East. These have sedimentary and metamorphic basement rocks.

CYCLONES Cyclones have been in Spain. They have gotten up to 70 mph so just as fast as a car on the highway. The winds have gotten up to over 100 mph. Also have gotten about 3 to 4 inches of rain. Cyclones near Spain have taken 300 to 500 thousand live I can't say how much Spain has been put in but thats just a total that they have thats near Spain. Their system is similar to there floods in a way. they only differences is to stay inside or inside and underground if possible. Then its the same as to have flashlight a radio and other essentials that you may need during the times.                                FINAL BLOG      In Spain the main two natural disasters that happen are floods either regular flood or flash floods. In Spain its more common for them to have flash floods. Flash floods come out of now where and they occur more and are hard to detect when they happen. In Europe where Spain is in their percentages of death due to floods is 70 percent. In Spain itself its 90 percent death due to floods.      The other main natural disaster are forest fires.  Costal Erosion  In Spain about 50% consist of hard and soft cliffs.  Its abundant because of the Atlantic areas and the Canary and Balearic Island. The waves can vary form 0.2 to 5.40 meter in Spain. Spain's President has a lot of climate change and that is on top of his worries. In Spain their are a lot of things that happen weather and natural wise that are considered at high levels and their are very little that are medium and low. Spain is in a difficult location.
